Whiskey; and cupcakes

I understand how it could be sad…but instead to me it seems triumphant, powerful, and amazing. Imagine being him, or Einstein when he puzzles out relativity, or Hawking working out the maths behind black holes for the first time…Imagine knowing, with an absolute certainty, that you contain specific factual knowledge of how some of the universe works, and that no one else knows it. That no one else has been able to figure it out. Until you explain it to someone else, you are special in very concrete and definable way.
